I love me some Aaron Sorkin. Okay? Let's get that out of the way.

But.

He keeps reusing lines. Over and over again. I accepted it for a few episodes. I accepted it during "The West Wing" because, well, I love me some Aaron Sorkin.

But really? This far into a series?

"Fire me, or shut the hell up!"

I still love him.

You really don't get any of this, do you.

I don't CARE, I just don't think you're INTERESTING. I fail to understand what the point of you showing up here is. Simply saying "Waaah, I have the right to be here" does not impress me.

Am I supposed to feel bad for my comment? I thought it was funny and apropos. Did you not?

My main Sorkin-lust is "Sports Night" so this may not apply to his other shows, but I always thought that reuse of lines was quite intentional, and part of what made the dialogue so great. I liked it when it tied things together, or turned the tables in a situation. Maybe it doesn't work as well in his other shows?
